| The Savary Inn |
![]() The Savary Inn (City of Vancouver Archives: CVA 374-439) Savary's first hotel, it was built in 1914 just to the right of the Wharf. It ran for 18 years, and then burned down in 1932. The picture above comes from the City of Vancouver Archives, with the caption: "In front of the [Savary] Inn showing the wide expanse of golden sand and a portion of the dock."
