I would love to have a copy of Gladys Blomfield's book.
Gladys lived behind and above our cottage on the beach. She allowed me to pick her heavenly sweetpea flowers. My family owned 5 cottages on the front beginning in the 1920s: Mary Walkem (my grandmother who survived the sinking of the Gulf Stream on Dinner Rock), her daughter, my aunt, Sis Baxter, Sis's daughter, my cousin, Sandra Baxter Clarke, my cousins the Byrns and Bicknells, and her son, my father, Dood Walkem. Everything about Savary lives in my very fond memories.
