 The road was named for Brian Chase, a Vietnam vet who suffered from the effects of Agent Orange exposure. He moved to the island in 1979 with his wife Juanita— now a well-known real estate agent — to take over the management of the Royal Savary Hotel. They ran the hotel until it was closed in 1983. |
