A reef south-east of Savary.
It was named in 1902 by Captain John Walbran for the Atrevida, a Spanish corvette under the command of Capt Jose Bustamente y Guerra that was one of the two vessels in Alejandro Malaspina's 1791 around-the-world expedition. During the expedition, they performed a survey of the North Pacific Coast. ![]() Notes 1. In Spanish atrevida means "audacious." |
